# Understanding the Difference Between Distribution Lists and Whitelists

### Distribution List:

A distribution list is a roster of individuals who will begin receiving emails directly from our loss prevention team. These emails include updates on suspicious incident reports, location updates, and notifications regarding unreviewable locations. 

 

### Whitelist:

A whitelist comprises individuals who are granted access to the suspicious incidents report link compiled by our loss prevention team. Members of the whitelist can view and access the recorded suspicious incident reports, allowing them to stay informed about any security-related issues affecting the locations they oversee.
