How long is footage retained, and how is it saved?

In accordance with our security and data privacy policy, all Rhombus clips—both shared and unshared—are retained for up to 180 days. Any clips older than 180 days will be automatically deleted across all customer accounts.

Please note that this policy applies specifically to saved clips. For standard camera footage, video is stored locally on the device and typically retained for approximately 30 days, depending on recording frequency and camera resolution. Once storage capacity is reached, older footage is automatically overwritten.
