# Using Market Snapshots

## Learn how to review your markets, request additional snapshots, update market status, and export snapshots.

***Read time: under 5 minutes***

### **What is Market Snapshots?**

Market Snapshots gives you a way to review snapshots from your locations and track which markets are **healthy** or **unhealthy**.

From the Market Snapshots page, you can review snapshots, view cameras, assign a status, add notes, request additional snapshots, set a schedule, and export images.

### **How do you access Market Snapshots?**

Market Snapshots is enabled on a **per-location basis**.

Once enabled for a location, that site will appear in the Market Snapshots location list. Only locations where Market Snapshots is enabled will be available to select.
Market Snapshots runs on a **daily cadence**. By default, snapshots are provided for **8:00 a.m.**, unless a different schedule is added. You can set up to three schedules for snapshots to be taken.

Snapshots are available on a go-forward basis, beginning from the time Market Snapshots is enabled for the location.

### **How do you review your markets?**

From the main Market Snapshots page, you can select a specific location or multiple locations within the same branch.

Market Snapshots works on a **per-branch basis**, so locations from multiple branches cannot be selected together.

When reviewing a snapshot, you can mark the market status as:

- **Unassigned**

- **Healthy**

- **Warning**

- **Unhealthy**

You can also add anything you noticed while reviewing the snapshot.

The status shown on the main page reflects the **latest snapshot** for the location. This allows you to filter your markets based on their latest status and see which locations continue to be unhealthy.

### **How do you view snapshots from a location?**

Select **View Camera** to open the snapshots for a location.

If the location has one camera, you will see **View Camera**. If it has multiple cameras, the button will show the number of cameras, such as **View Two Cameras**.

Selecting **View Camera** takes you to the snapshots. It does not open the live feed of the camera.

For locations with multiple cameras, the available camera snapshots will automatically be displayed.

### **How do you request another snapshot?**

You can request another snapshot if you want to see how the market looks at a different time.

You can:

- Request a snapshot for the current time.

- Select a date and request a snapshot for a specific time.

- Add a schedule for up to three snapshots throughout the day.

When requesting a snapshot from a previous date, you can only go back to dates from the time Market Snapshots was already enabled for that location.

For example, if a market is unhealthy in the morning, you can request another snapshot after a delivery has been performed to see whether the market can be updated to healthy.

### **How do filters work?**

The filters on the Market Snapshots page allow you to narrow down the locations you want to review.

The status filter is based on the **latest status** for each location.

For example, if a market was unhealthy at **8:00 a.m.** and healthy at **12:00 noon**, the latest status displayed on the main page will be healthy.

This allows you to quickly identify which markets continue to be unhealthy based on their most recent snapshot.

### **How do you export snapshots?**

Select **Export** from the main Market Snapshots page to download snapshots.

The export is provided as a **zip file containing the individual images**.

The file name for each image includes information such as:

- Location name
- Date
- Time
- Camera name
- Status

The export is based on the locations and date you selected.

While the status filter on the main page reflects the **latest status**, the export will include the snapshots for the selected locations and date regardless of the individual snapshot status.

For example, if a location was unhealthy at 8:00 a.m. and healthy at 12:00 noon, both snapshots can be included in the export.

The exported file will automatically be saved to your downloads.

### **How can you use Market Snapshots in your workflow?**

Market Snapshots can help you track which markets are unhealthy and take action based on what you see.

For example, if you identify unhealthy markets, you can schedule a delivery driver and request another snapshot after the delivery has been performed. You can then review the updated snapshot and determine whether the market is now healthy.

This gives you a way to track which sites are unhealthy, fix them, and reduce the number of unhealthy markets over time.
